Post-Mediation Documentation:
Where agreement is reached, I can prepare a Parenting Plan, Heads of Agreement or Memorandum of Understanding.
Important: I do not draft legally binding documents or provide legal advice. To formalise your agreement, you must consult a legal practitioner. A lawyer will be required to draft and finalise:
Consent Orders (to be filed with the Family Court), or
A Binding Financial Agreement (BFA) under the Family Law Act 1975.
Intake Interviews – Individual Sessions
Each party engages in a private and confidential intake interview prior to mediation. These sessions:
Gather relevant background information,
Identify the issues in dispute,
Conduct risk assessments (including family violence and safety considerations),
Determine suitability for mediation, and
Provide a clear overview of the FDR process, including its voluntary and confidential nature.

“I am deeply grateful for the support and guidance provided by Alanna throughout the mediation process. She demonstrated exceptional care and professionalism, creating a balanced and respectful environment for both my ex-partner and me. Her deep knowledge of family law and child-focused approach helped us remain centred on what truly matters, our children's well-being. Through her guidance, we were able to communicate more effectively and reach mutual agreements in the best interests of our family. I highly recommend her services to anyone seeking a fair and compassionate mediation process.”
